The Lagos State House of Assembly on Thursday passed the Value Added Tax (VAT) bill, as well as the bill prohibiting open grazing of cattle in the state.

The legislators at plenary on Thursday after the third reading of the bills, voted unanimously for the passage of the two bills, ready to be sent to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for assent.

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.  Mudashiru Obasa, commended the legislators for their passion towards the progress and continuous growth of the state.

Obasa, thereafter, ordered the Acting Clerk of the House, Olalekan Onafeko, to transmit clean copies of the bills to the Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for assent.
