Boko Haram intensifies hostilities, sack residents of a Community in Yobe

Boko Haram terrorists on Sunday, intensified hostilities in northeast Nigeria, invading Babbangida community, Tarmuwa Local Government Area, Yobe State. The terrorists compelled residents to flee for safety during exchange of gunfire with security forces in the community.

The military were said to have repelled the Boko Haram terrorists, recovered a Toyota Hilux, thereafter.

The Boko Haram terrorists were said to have struck in Babbangida on August 25, 2021.

They had previously invaded Geidam, the country home of the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba Alkali, where they hoisted their flags, including other communities.
