After years of robbing with charms, weapons, Lateef runs into Amotekun in Osun
After terrorizing communities, including Asamu and Telemu in Ola Oluwa LGA of Osun, for years, Ajibola Lateef has ended up in police net following his arrest by the Osun Western Security Network, Amotekun, on Monday.
His charms and weapons failed, and men of Amotekun, on a tip-off, were able to arrest him as he was about to rob residents again.
The Field Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Amitolu Shittu, confirmed the arrest, adding that during interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime.
“He was arrested by the operatives of Amotekun after a distress call was made by residents of the town,” he said.
Amitolu explained that he confessed to terrorising the two towns armed with charms and dangerous weapons.
The bandit has been handed over to the Nigerian Police, Ola-Oluwa Division.
