Police burst kidnappers’ empire in Abuja
Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have revealed the discovery of kidnappers empire in Abuja. The police indicated they uncovered a kidnappers’ den in a forest in Kuje, a satellite town in Abuja.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Command, DSP Josephine Adeh, in a statement indicated that the command’s operatives rescued about 11 victims kidnapped in Gwargwada, Kuje, on February 17, 2022.
Adeh narrated that the police went into operations on Saturday after receiving reports that some persons were abducted from the communities and taken into the forest.
The PPRO added that the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Babaji Sunday, subsequently, directed the operatives to deeply comb the forest.
