Delta 2023: Otuaro conceives an industrialized, productive State

Deputy Governor Kingsley Burutu Otuaro of Delta State, a governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in an integration with PDP delegates in the eight local government areas of Delta Central Senatorial District, unveiled his mission and vision of the Delta State which he is aspiring to provide leadership after the 2023 general elections. The deputy governor conceived a Delta State that is industrialized and has high level of production that can generate jobs for citizens resident in the state.

The deputy governor at a town hall meeting at the Wetland Hotel, Ughelli, with PDP delegates and leaders, unveiled his mission and vision statement, assuring that he would give priority to the welfare people, enhance human capital development, as harbinger to making Delta State an industrial hub in the coastal belt.

Otuaro had declared: “My vision is to make Delta State a first choice, which every Deltan, both home and in the diaspora, even strangers will be proud of; a place where dreams come true.

“My Mission Statement is to, sow and water the economic seed of an industrialised Delta and see it manifest in the creation of jobs and massive opportunities for everyone living, working, and doing business in Delta.”

The deputy governor assured he would provide exemplary leadership that would stimulate effective and efficient service delivery for the social and economic wellbeing of all Deltans.

Otuaro added with aggressive industrialization, he would enhance capacity building and capacity utilization to bolster the economic landscape of the State. He promised to provide incentives for private sector participation, while establishing sustainable State-owned enterprises. It is anticipated that this would stimulate economic diversification with huge job opportunities, according to the Deputy Governor.

He reiterated his commitment to a highly efficient and effective civil and public service sector for good governance, within the context of running “public service government-as-a-service and/or an enterprise system”.

The deputy governor reaffirmed his commitment to peace building towards entrenching one-mission-minded people’s culture to promote harmony and unity in the state. He emphasized the imperative of a safe and peaceful environment that guarantees freedom and liberty for quality social, working, and living conditions for citizens and visitors in Delta State.

The deputy governor, thereafter, proclaimed a phenomenon of “Delta first; Delta of the 21″ century,” to express his commitment to the people..
