Reno Omokri knocks Charlie Boy for ignoring Southeast but protesting against events in Sokoto & Lagos
Reno Omokri has taken to social media to question the actions of Charlie Boy concerning the recent peaceful protest he organized in Lagos. Charlie Boy had organized a protest in the streets of Lagos against the current trend of jungle justice being experienced all over the country.
The legendary musician started protesting against the recent killing of a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto State, named Deborah Samuel, who was murdered by a mob of Islamic extremists for alleged blasphemous statements against Islam. The second person that was murdered by a mob was a sound engineer named Mr. David Sunday, who was murdered by a mob in Lekki.
Reno Omokri, reacting to the protest Charlie Boy organized, opined that we need to be objective for once. The jungle justice Nigeria witnessed was in Sokoto State and Lekki, Lagos State. The culprits were arrested by security forces.
Reno Omokri noted that the same heinous crime was perpetrated in the Southeast with the beheading of the army couple and Honourable Okoye, and nobody has been arrested. He asked why Charlie Boy is protesting the crimes that people were arrested for while ignoring the ones that occurred in the Southeast? See his post below.
In another post Reno Omokri made on Twitter, he stated that there have been many jungle justice in the Southeast where Charlie Boy comes from, the beheading of the army couple and that is Hon. Okoye, but Charlie by is leading a protest for what happened in Sokoto. Reno Omokri suggested that Charlie Boy should let Charity begin at home. See his posts below.
