NAF Spokesperson replies man who complained of not being recruited to the Nigerian Airforce
The spokesperson of the Nigerian Airforce, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, gave an encouraging reply to a man who complained of not being deployed into the force.
To celebrate the 58th year anniversary of the Nigerian Airforce, the NAF spokesperson took to his official Twitter handle to share some amazing photos the NAF fighter jets and which captioned it:
“This is the Nigerian Air Force. This is the people’s Air Force. And we remain willing, able and ready.”
The tweet generated hundreds of comments and retweets. One of the followers lamented about his experience in trying to join the NAF:
“The people’s Airforce that put my name in Reserve list for over 3 months now, imagine waiting for that long for something that might never come,” the Twitter user lamented.
In what could be described as a motivational and reassuring reply, the Air Commodore Gabkwet told the young man: “Never ever give up bro.”
It is a dream of every patriotic citizen to defend the territorial integrity of his or her country.
However, applicants must understand that everybody cannot be recruited at the same time. There is a required quota for recruitment. And as the spokesperson told the young – Applicants should never ever give up.
