ADC backs demand for resignation of Buhari
Leaders of the African Democratic Party (ADC) at a joint meeting of its Board of Trustees (BoT) and National Working Committee (NWC) in Abuja, declared support for the call by the party’s presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu, on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign if he cannot tackle the economy and the worsening security situation in the country.
The ADC berated the All Progressives Congress (APC) government over its approach to the ‘resolving’ the national strike embarked on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The party leaders indicated their resolve to hold an intervention meeting with ASUU members soon.
