Gov. Sanwo-Olu attends Redeemed Church Oct. thanksgiving Service, solicits for support
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday attended the 2022 October1 thanksgiving service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) at the Redemption Camp.
Speaking at the church service, Governor Sanwo-Olu, who attended the thanksgiving service with his wife, Dr. Ibijoke, commended the congregation for their prayers for Lagos State government and Nigeria. he appealed to them to continue to support the Lagos State government with prayers.
The Lagos State governor identified some locations in Lagos State where people will notice disruptions of traffic, explaining that the disruptions are caused by construction works on bridges, including the delivery of rail services to residents of the state. Sanwo-Olu said that the works are for the emergence of a greater Lagos. he declared, “a greater Lagos is on course,”
Sanwo-Olu, dressed in sparkling white, expressed the optimism that as he stood before the congregation as their governor to celebrate this year’s independence anniversary, he will be there again as their governor to celebrate the 2023 October 1 independence anniversary with them.
“I stand as your governor today, I will also stand here as your governor on October 1, 2023.
“it is nice to be with you today, I will see you again on October 1 next year.
“Please continue to support us” Sanwo-Olu declared.
