Charlie Boy slams Atiku over 2023 presidency
A social activist, Charlie Boy, known as Area Fada, has slammed the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, over his disposition of the president remaining in the north in 2023 aft5er the eight years of president Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Area Fada berated Atiku, saying that “his ambition has blinded his capacity to reason objectively.”
Atiku had in a media interaction stated that the PDP had governed the country for 16 years and that the south had more presidents in the party, producing presidents in 14 while the north had only two years of presidency. He had noted that the PDP and the APC have different trajectory and are not the same in terms of zoning and power rotation.
According to Atiku, “now, we have two political parties. PDP has governed this country from 1999 to 2015, had more presidents coming from the south, 14 out of these 16 years were governed by southerners.
“So, PDP has a different trajectory; APC has a different trajectory.
“But some Nigerians have refused to see that. They only see that a northerner is now the president, therefore, the next president must be a southerner, which is not fair; because the two parties are different, completely different.”
Charlie Boy, however, in serial tweets wrote: Charly Boy Area Fada 1 @AreaFada1 “Haba, Atiku, you suppose get more sense pass dis kin yarn.
“He is talking to kids, I guess! The two parties are they both not governing Nigeria? The constant is Nigeria, not the parties. His ambition has blinded his capacity to reason objectively.”
