NNPP’s Abba Yusuf wins Kano governorship race
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Abba Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) as winner the Kano governorship election which held on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Ahmad Dokko Ibrahim, the returning officer, announced this on Monday, March 20.
According to him, Yusuf polled a total of 1,019,602 votes to defeat Yusuf Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 890,705 votes.
