Dear Bayelsans,
As I welcome you all to a bright new week, the Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, and I wish to reaffirm our commitment to building a peaceful, secured, united and prosperous Bayelsa State.
As we officially begin our re-election campaigns based on our sound stewardship to the great people of Bayelsa State, I am particularly happy with the outpouring of love, acceptance and endorsement for us to continue in office for another term. Thank you for standing firmly with this government.
Looking back, this government of Prosperity has completed several projects including inherited and new ones. The three Senatorial roads remain our signature projects to open up more riverine communities and connect them to the State capital.
Also, we have initiated great policies and programmes in education, health, sports, empowerment, skills acquisition and other areas for the overall good of our people.

We have prioritised the welfare and salaries of our civil servants including teachers and health workers. The outstanding gratuities to our senior citizens are being cleared over the past months and we feel strongly that the retirees deserve to enjoy their benefits while alive.
We truly mean well for our dear State.
We are confident of victory because our people appreciate good governance under our party, the PDP.
We will win because our people are with us.
Lawrence and I are here for real service to the people.
Your vote is a vote for continuity and consolidation towards building a prosperous Bayelsa State of great potential.
Happy New Week and may God continue to keep you strong!
