FRSC warns motorists against assault on personnel
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has issued a stern warning to the public against assaulting its officers during the execution of their duties.
Anthony Uga, the FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun State, emphasized the zero-tolerance stance of the FRSC towards any form of assault on its personnel.
The warning was delivered by Uga in Sango-Ota on Monday, underscoring the importance of respecting and cooperating with FRSC operatives while they carry out their responsibilities.
“Any motorist who decides to assault FRSC personnel will be apprehended and handed over to the police and the person will be charged to court accordingly for assaulting a uniformed personnel.

“However, whenever it happens, the perpetrator would definitely face the wrath of the law,” he said.
Uga also said it was an offence for an FRSC operative to assault any motoring public, and anyone engaged in such an act would be charged for an offence against members of the public.
The sector commander noted that the FRSC was not a conquering force but operatives to maintain sanity on the highways.
