Father and son arrested for killing neighbor’s wife
Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested one Chizoke Obiadada (54) and his son, Micheal Obiadada (17), over the death of their neighbor’s wife, Tope Owoade.
According to a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, the incident happened in Ogijo area of the State, last Thursday. It was gathered that the victim was beaten blue-black by the suspects when she confronted them on why they had to sit on one of the tables used for displaying her wares.
The statement reads, “Successive uncontrollable anger and arguments which snowballed into a quarrel, over sitting on a“worktable“ belonging to one Tope Owoade, 43, now deceased.
A table the victim uses in selling “Ponmo” stemmed an altercation for preventing her neighours from sitting on her work table causing a misunderstanding that has led to her demise.
