Police arrest 19 for robbery, cattle rustling, banditry in Kano
The Kano State Police Command has arrested 19 persons for various crimes which include armed robbery, cattle rustling, kidnapping, banditry, etc. in the state.

“In a derive towards checkmating violent criminal activities in all parts of the State and ensuring the safety and security of all residents, the Police in Kano have emplaced robust crime prevention patrols that led to the arrest of 19 suspects involved in various crimes including armed robbery, cattle rustling, kidnapping, banditry and other related crimes.

Rustled rams recovered from the criminals
“Exhibits recovered from the suspects include 2 AK-47 rifles, 1 Smoke Pistol, 1 Pump Action rifle, 26 Rounds of 7.2mm Live Ammunition, 17 Live Cartridges, 2 Motor Vehicles, 16 Rams,
“Other Dangerous Weapons, House Breaking Implements and some Charms.”

Dangerous weapons Police recovered from the arrested persons
The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, assured the public of the Command’s commitment to the protection of lives and property.
The CP called on residents to keep cooperating with the Police in their efforts to keep the State safe.
