Oborevwori celebrates as Goodluck Jonathan commissions Delta State High Court complex

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State celebrated the commissioning of Delta State High Court complex completed and furnished by his administration by former President Goodluck Jonathan.

“To facilitate the dispensation of justice in a conducive atmosphere with modern facilities, and as part of my one-year anniversary in office, former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR), commissioned the Delta State High Court complex completed and furnished by my administration.

“This is the climax of a journey that began 25 years ago.

“The five-storey edifice boasts of 6 Courtrooms, a Library, Conference Halls, 6 Witness Waiting Rooms, 6 Holding Cells, Ceremonial Hall, Black Maria Bay, Computer Laboratory, Multipurpose Hall, Control Room, Staff Canteen, Zoom Room, among others.

“The Complex is to enjoy 24/7 power supply via the Asaba IPP to allow for uninterrupted power supply.

“At the inauguration ceremony, I also presented to our eminent judges 20 brand new Landcruiser Prado SUVs for their use.

“This event underscores our commitment to complete projects inherited from the immediate past administration and our commitment to do MORE for our people.”
