Customs Service intercepts large cache of smuggled arms, ammunition
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has intercepted a highly disturbing number of arms and ammunition that were illegally smuggled into the country.

According to The Nation, the exact value of the confiscated arms and ammunition has yet to be disclosed, leaving many speculating on the potential magnitude of the seizure.
In response to the interception, the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi, has swiftly traveled to Lagos, where he is expected to address journalists at the Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone “A” in Ikeja, Lagos.
His briefing is anticipated to provide crucial details on the seizure, including the origin of the smuggled weapons, those responsible, and the measures being taken to prevent future occurrences.
