Arteta addresses partey’s exit amidst rape & sexual assault charges
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has publicly defended the club’s decision-making regarding Thomas Partey’s departure, which occurred just days before the Ghana international midfielder was arrested and charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. Partey, whose contract ended on June 30, is set to appear in a London court on August 5.
