Pastor Chris questions credibility of global health institutions over cancer research funding (Video)

The founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has sparked fresh debate over global healthcare systems after questioning the continued funding and credibility of major international health organizations involved in cancer research and treatment.

Speaking during the Global Prayer and Fasting With Pastor Chris, Oyakhilome criticized institutions such as the American Cancer Society and the World Health Organization, arguing that it was contradictory for organizations to repeatedly state that cancer has no cure while continuing to receive billions of dollars in funding annually.

According to the cleric, millions of people around the world continue to suffer and die from cancer despite decades of scientific research, fundraising campaigns and international medical interventions.

“They said cancer cannot be cured, yet they keep collecting billions,” Oyakhilome said while questioning what he described as the effectiveness and transparency of global healthcare institutions.

He also raised broader concerns about the structure of modern healthcare systems, saying that some global institutions may be more focused on sustaining pharmaceutical and medical industries than pursuing permanent solutions to diseases.

He linked his concerns to what he described as “population management,” a phrase that has generated mixed reactions online.

Pastor Oyakhilome’s remarks add to growing global conversations around trust in public health institutions, pharmaceutical companies and healthcare funding, particularly after controversies and skepticism that emerged during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
