Confirming the incident, the Plateau State Police, said the Commissioner of Police has since deployed security personnel to the area to beef up security and restore normalcy.
The latest attack came days after the IRIGWE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION, the umbrella body of the IRIGWE nation issued a press statement, calling for vigilance, especially by security agencies, saying attacks such as this were eminent following a release by the Miyyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN), which had alleged lost of cattle around the area.
