Katsina United target maximum points in Ilorin
AS the NPFL second round commences today, Katsina United will travel to Ilorin to keep a date with ‘The Harmony Boys’ in one of the opening games at the Kwara State Sports Complex in Ilorin, National Daily gathered.
‘The Changi Boys’, who managed to secure a draw in their last home match with visiting MFM FC, will go to this game knowing that a positive result in this promising and mouth-watering encounter will further boost their confidence
Kwara United, who suffered a slim defeat to Katsina United 1 – 0 last weekend, will throw everything into this game in order to avenge the loss they suffered at Katsina a week ago.
Coach Abdullahi Biffo’s team will still want to bank on the strength of their key players like Joshua Agboola, Lukman Muhammed, Destiny Ashadi, Tasiu Lawal and Martins Usule, the team’s top scorer, to give ‘The Harmony Boys’ a run for their money.
Kwara United, on the other hand, will rely on Segun Alebiosu, Lukman Binuyo, and Katsina United former striker Ebenzer Odeyemi to spur them past their opponents.
Katsina United must avoid defeat in Ilorin against Kwara United in order to maintain their top-four positions on the league table.
Coach Abubakar Bala’s team have to win so as to keep their heads above the relegation water.
“There is a very good understanding among the players. We love ourselves and play for each other all in the name of helping the team. The togetherness in the team is a key factor that will help us to get positive result in Kwara.”
