AIG Hassan Warns Police Personnel against graft
… Confirms arrest of 48 cultist

The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 comprising Lagos and Ogun State, AIG Bala Hassan has confirmed the arrest of 48 suspected cultists who have unleashed spite of terror on Lagos and Ogun State residents.
The Police boss disclosed this on Monday at a media parley shortly after he addressed officers and men of the Lagos State Police Command.
The Police Chief who recently resumed duty in the zone, warned officers and men to desist from graft and corrupt practices that would tarnish the image of the force.
AIG Hassan disclosed that henceforth, Area Commanders would be held responsible for any crime committed within their area of jurisdiction.
He added that the command has also beefed up security on the waterways to checkmate criminals using it as a pawn to rob Banks.
