Annie Idibia debunks reunion rumours with ex-husband 2Baba

Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has dismissed rumours suggesting she has reconciled with her ex-husband, music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.

The speculation followed the circulation of a video on social media showing the former couple sharing an affectionate moment at a nightclub. Many users claimed the clip was recent, fuelling reports that they had rekindled their relationship.

Reacting via her Instagram Stories on Monday, Annie clarified that the video was old and accused social media users of spreading false information.

“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.

Her statement effectively dispelled the speculation, confirming that the resurfaced footage did not reflect the current state of their relationship.

Annie and 2Baba, who share two daughters, ended their marriage in January 2025 after more than a decade together.

Since the separation, 2Baba has remarried and is now married to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
