APC chairman supports Saraki recall—only afraid, says KMC
In response to APC Ilorin West Chairman who said the group seeking Sen. President Bukola Saraki’s recall is faceless, the Kwara Must Change has insisted the move will go on because it doesn’t need the APC to do it.
In a statement on Monday, the group said Alhaji Suleiman Bala, declaring the KMC unknown, only confirms its authenticity.
“For the purpose of clarity, “Kwara Must Change” has been existing even before the formation of APC and our membership is made up of young and old people from across Kwara State, but more dominantly from Ilorin since this is the birth place of the organization,” it said.

According to the group, the effort to recall Saraki is simply to exercise the right of the people to hire and fire a non-performing employee, in this case, the Senate president.
The KMC also said if the chairman says the group is not known to him, the group know him and the rest of its leaders.

He also knows that the group disagrees with his leadership style, which explains their determination to exercise their rights as guaranteed in the Constitution.
“While they may come to the public to say they are against the recall of Dr. Saraki, who to a large extent, contributed negatively to the current state of things, we know that truly in their heart, they are in support of this patriotic move and we can’t, but pity their tight situation,” it added.
The statement further noted genuine party leaders can’t be against this recall “when graduates in Ilorin are only being occasionally considered for security jobs to protect those in charge of our collective resources, while the decent jobs go to the children of the already rich.”
