APC zones presidency 2023 to South, national chairman, north
The zoning of the 2023 presidential ticket to the south by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is feared to potentially precipitate further internal crisis in the party.
The APC beside revealing the zoning of the 2023 presidential ticket to the south, revealed the zooming of the national chairman to the north, as well as other zoning arrangements of the National Working Committee (NWC).
The zoning arrangements were announced on Wednesday.
The Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, on Wednesday officially announced details of the APC 2023 presidential ticket zoning, including the National Working Committee members.
According to the Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni, the zoning arrangements are as follows:
President – South
Vice President – North
Senate President – South
Deputy Senate President – North
House of Reps Speaker – North
House of Reps Deputy Speaker – South.
For the national leadership, the APC National Working Committee Zoning are as follows:
National Chairman – North
National Secretary – South
National Treasurer – South
Financial Secretary – North
Legal Officer – North
Welfare Officer – South
Auditor – North
National Youth Leader – South
National Woman Leader – South
Publicity Secretary – South
Persons With Disability PWD Leader – South, beside others.
