Arsenal receive timely injury boost ahead of crucial PSG clash
Arsenal have been handed a significant fitness boost as they prepare to take on Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night.
The Gunners, who travel to the French capital this afternoon, face an uphill task after losing the first leg 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium last week. With a place in the final in Munich at stake, Mikel Arteta’s men will need a strong performance to overturn the deficit and keep their European dream alive.
In a welcome development, key players Martin Ødegaard, Jurrien Timber, and Riccardo Calafiori were all spotted in training on Tuesday morning at London Colney.

The return of captain Ødegaard is particularly encouraging after he sustained a foot injury in the closing minutes of Arsenal’s 2-1 Premier League defeat to Bournemouth last weekend.
Timber, who was absent from that match after picking up a knock in the final stages of the first leg against PSG, also trained with the squad, raising hopes that he could be available for selection.
However, the match may come too soon for Italian full-back Calafiori, who has been sidelined since March with a knee injury sustained while on international duty against Germany. While his return to training is a positive sign, the coaching staff are likely to exercise caution regarding his involvement.
Arsenal will be hoping the fitness updates translate into a stronger performance on the pitch as they chase a historic place in the Champions League final.
