Atlético Madrid sign Julián Álvarez from Man City
Argentine forward Julián Álvarez has officially joined La Liga giants Atlético Madrid from Manchester City.
The transfer was confirmed by the club in a post on their social media platforms on Monday.
Known affectionately as “La Araña” (The Spider), Álvarez is a versatile attacker renowned for his technical ability and goal-scoring prowess.
Álvarez’s arrival is a significant boost for Atlético Madrid as they aim to strengthen their attacking options.

The 24-year-old joined Manchester City in January 2022 and made valuable contributions during his time at the Etihad Stadium.
However, with limited first-team opportunities, Álvarez sought a new challenge in Spain.
