Awamaridi is a mole from APC–Labour Party
Lagos chapter of the Labour Party has described Prof. Ifagbemi Awamaridi as a mole planted by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos.
In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of the party in Lagos, Olubunmi Odesanya, Prof. Awamaridi has resurrected a very
old interview claiming that he is the Labour Party Governorship candidate in Lagos State.

“Awamaridi was a placeholder for the Party. He duly signed and submitted a withdrawal letter pending Gubernatorial primaries for Labour Party where Architect Gbadebo RHODES-VIVOUR was duly elected
“A substitution primary election was held in Lagos where Senator Moshood Salvador and Arch. Gbedebo Rhodes-Vivour contested for the State ticket as Governorship candidate. Awamaridi was not even a contestant in that primary.
“Architect Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour emerged as the LP State Gubernatorial candidate. The Primary was conducted and witnessed by INEC and a plethora of the Media.
“Architect Gbadebo RHODES-VIVOUR’s name was consequently uploaded as the duly elected Gubernatorial Candidate of Labour Party by INEC on the Commission’s Portal.
“We implore you dear Lagosians, do the right thing. VOTE GRV. VOTE LABOUR PARTY. It is time to bring back the crown,” he added.
