Biafra League denounces Nigeria’s 61st Independence, tells members to ignore celebration
The Biafra Nations League (BNL) on Friday denounced Nigeria’s 61st Independence Anniversary, directing its members to ignore the October 1st celebrations. The Biafra Nations League in a statement jointly signed by the National Leader, Princewill Chimezie Richards, Deputy National Leader, Ebuta Akor Takon and Chief of General Staff, Linus Asuquo Essien, directed its members in the South East and South-South to disassociate themselves from Nigeria Independence celebration on Friday. The BNL declared that Nigeria is a dead country waiting for burial. The BNL also urged the people of the region to do away with the Nigerian flags and stay at home to avoid hoodlums attacking them in the name of Biafra.
The BNL leaders revealed that it has directed it’s Militias in Bakassi Peninsula to recapture the Isaac Boro camp, formerly being occupied by the Nigerian military. The leaders disclosed that after hundreds of python snakes invaded the military camp to chase the Cameroon solders out of the territory, the camp has been abandoned over five years.
The BNL leaders had earlier issued oil firms three weeks deadline to stop paying taxes to Cameroon and Nigerian governments. They threatened that the 60% tax received by the Nigerian government will be cut off by shutting down the oil companies, if they undermine their directives or refuse to comply.
