BREAKING: Anti-Buhari demonstrators dispersed
Protesters on Friday converged on the Dantata Bridge on along the Airport Road in Abuja, demanding the resignation of the President General Muhammadu Buhari.
The protesters, wielding large banners, made bonfires on the highway.
But armed police men have dispersed the protesters who were just gathering for the demonstration.
They fired tear gas canisters and gave them a hot chase.
Secessionists, opposition, rights activists and their many groups have now favoured anniversaries to protest against the APC federal government.
A siilar demonstration was planned last October 1, when Nigeria celebrates its independence.
