BREAKING: Two officers killed as Nigerian Air Force aircraft crashes in Kaduna
An aircraft belonging to the Nigerian Air Force has crashed in Kaduna, killing the two fighter jet pilots.
According to exclusive reports gathered by National Daily, the aircraft was on a flight demonstration in preparation for an air show being planned by the Airforce for next month.
A source disclosed that it was a Super Mushak, which is trainer aircraft that crashed inside the Nigerian Airforce facility in Kaduna, while on the training mission.
As at the time of putting together this report National Daily further gathered that the remains of the Officers who hail from Gombe and Yobe states respectively have been taken to the military hospital morgue.
NAF Director of Public Relations, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet could not be reached for official position.
However, sources at NAF Base in Kaduna who were seen discussing in hush tones confirmed the death of the pilots (names withheld).
It was not immediately clear what may have led to the crash.
It will be recalled that on July 18 2021, a NAF fighter plane went down while on a mission in the North-West.
