The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has left stakeholders in suspense by postponing its decision regarding the canceled AFCON qualifying Group A match between Libya and Nigeria, originally scheduled for October 15 at Benina Martyrs Stadium.
Reports from BeIN Sports indicate that the Confederation Disciplinary Committee held a video conference on Wednesday to hear explanations from both parties, including representatives from Libya and Nigeria.
The match was previously called off after the Nigerian national team protested the diversion of their flight to Labraq Airport, where they were detained for 18 hours without food or water.
