ChatGPT CEO Sam Altman denies shocking 9-year claim from sister
Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, has denied allegations made by his sister, Ann Altman, who has filed a lawsuit claiming that he sexually abused her from 1997 to 2006.
In a statement shared on X with his mother and two brothers, Sam rejected the accusations, saying he offers her monthly financial support, covers her bills and rent, and even offered to buy her a house.
He also mentioned that despite this, she continues to ask for more money. The lawsuit, filed on January 6 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, alleges that the abuse began when Ann was three years old and Sam was twelve.

Altman stated that she experienced significant physical injury along with intense emotional distress and feelings of depression. She noted that as a result of these experiences, she has had to face numerous medical expenses due to the ongoing treatment for her physical and mental health issues caused by this situation. These medical bills reflect the care she has sought to address the injuries she sustained.
Additionally, the lawsuit highlighted that the most recent instance of the alleged abuse occurred at a time when Mr. Altman was already an adult while she, unfortunately, remained a minor. This detail is particularly troubling and emphasizes the seriousness of the allegations being made.
