Chelsea, Liverpool decides…
Chelsea and Liverpool must decide today how many tickets they want for the European Super Cup final.
The game takes place in Istanbul, Turkey on August 14 and according to the Mirror, Uefa are confident they will be able to satisfy the demand from both clubs after the farcical situation seen at the Europa League final in Baku. One of football’s most famous nicknames has been consigned to the dustbin — certainly inside Chelsea’s dressing room.
Frank Lampard, the man formerly known as Lamps, is now very much the boss. Cesar Azpilicueta, 29, starred alongside Lampard during his Chelsea playing days and started the new gaffer’s first match, a 1-1 draw against Bohemians in Dublin on Wednesday.
Asked what Lampard is called by the players, Azpilicueta said: “Now he is the boss, the manager.”
