Clark reveals 2 reasons cabal want Jonathan to contest for APC presidential primary
According to a report credited to the Punch News, A Prominent Ijaw Leader and Ex-Federal Commissioner for Information under the Military Regime of General Yakubu Gowon, Chief Edwin Clark has revealed the reason behind Northerners endorsement of Ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
It’s no longer a news that some Northern Power Brokers in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) wanted Jonathan to join the APC and contest for the Party’s Presidential Ticket. According to the Elderstatesman, Below is a list of Two Reasons why the Northern Power Brokers are rooting for Jonathan.
1. Clark Said The Power Brokers Want To Divide The South
It’s no longer a news that there has been several Agitations for Power Shift to the South in 2023 because the Incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari who has been occupying the Position since 2015 is a Northerner.
The Delta State-born Clark revealed that their Intention was to use Jonathan to divide the South and weaken the chances of the Region so that they won’t go into the 2023 Election united.
2. Clark Alleged That Northerners Want Power to Return to Them in 2027
Speaking further, he said that these Northern Power Brokers are aware that Jonathan has just One term of Four years left to serve Nigeria. So that by 2027, the North ‘ll start agitating for Power Shift to their Region.
