Club Owners Commiserate with Nasarawa Utd!
….. over death of Club’s Skipper
The Association of Nigeria Premier League Club Chairmen and Managers (Club Owners) have sent a message of condolence to the chairman, Management, officials, players, fans and supporters of Nasarawa United Football Club Lafia, over the reported sudden death of their club’s Skipper Baba Idris.
Club owners said it received the death of the young star with great shock and disbelief considering his commitment, hardwork and contributions to his club’s exploits at the just concluded NPFL season uptill the last matches which earned his club a CAF continental ticket.
The Association in a statement jointly signed by the Ag. Secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka and the Coordinator of the Club Owners Mr Jude Anyadufu also commiserated with the family of the deceased player as well as his friends and associates, even as it stressed that his club would miss him dearly as they campaign in the new football season as well as the CAF confederation cup.
Club Owners prayed for the repose of his soul and for God to grant his family, friends and Nasarawa United FC the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
