Ikhana accepts Enyimba’s decision to let him leave
Coach Kadiri Ikhana says he does not have any problem with Enyimba’s decision to let him go.
The Nigeria Professional Football League (NFPL) champions chose not to renew Ikhana’s contract and he insists he is leaving a fulfilled man.
“I will tell you that I am not at war with any one over the decision to hire a new helmsman in Enyimba.
“I was there before and won the league and CAF Champions League in 2003 and left, to me there is nothing new with what happened between the management and myself,” he said.
“I will continue to pray for the club success while I await God’s next move for me.
“I love coaching and challenges and wherever the tide takes me to, I will do my best as always.”
Ikhana also wished the new coach of the People Elephants who would be hired, the best during his tenure.
He said: “Aba is a good place for many good coaches to succeed. My piece of advice to whoever they will engage is that he should be focused and with that he will achieve the desired result.”
