Dave announces first headline concert in Lagos
British-Nigerian rapper Dave has announced his first-ever headline concert in Lagos, marking a major milestone in his career and a highly anticipated homecoming for Nigerian fans.
The award-winning artist shared the news on his social media platforms, revealing that he will perform at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts on October 16 and 17, 2026.

The concerts will kick off the African leg of his “The Boy Who Played The Harp” tour, which supports his third studio album.
The Lagos performances are particularly significant as they will be the first time Dave headlines his own concert in Nigeria, despite enjoying a large following in the country.
Announcing the shows, the rapper wrote:
“LAGOS NIGERIA! I’m announcing my first ever headline shows here, and we have made sure this homecoming will be special. Sign up for early access here!”
Born David Orobosa Omoregie, Dave is regarded as one of the most influential rappers of his generation, known for acclaimed projects such as Psychodrama and We’re All Alone in This Together.
The announcement has generated excitement among fans, many of whom have long awaited an opportunity to see the rapper perform a headline show in Nigeria.
