Dessers’ late strike rescues Rangers in Kyiv thriller
Rangers secured a dramatic 1-1 draw against Dynamo Kyiv in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier, thanks to a last-gasp equalizer from Cyriel Dessers.
The Scottish giants found themselves trailing after Andriy Yarmolenko’s first-half goal, and with time running out, it appeared as though Rangers were heading for a disappointing defeat.

However, Dessers intervened with a crucial 94th-minute strike to salvage a point for his side.
The result offers a glimmer of hope for Rangers as they prepare for the second leg at Hampden Park next week.
The match was played in Poland due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
