The All Progressives Congress (APC) has continued to be united in the preparations for the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti State. Unlike in some other circumstances, the defeated aspirants in the party’s primary election who lost to Dr. Kayode Fayemi, former Minister of Solid Minerals Development, remained intact to fight the colossal political stature of Governor Ayodele Fayose. They have all been absolved into Fayemi’s campaign structures.

Meanwhile, Fayemi,  on Sunday,  appointed former member of the House of Representatives,  Opeyemi Bamidele, Director General of his campaign organization. The APC governorship candidate announced the appointment of Bamidele at the inauguration of his mobilisation and campaign committees in Ado-Ekiti.
