El-Rufai expresses fresh opposition to Tinubu’s presidential ambition
A translated video of Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State revealing where he was telling the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, not to contest for the 2023 election since he is weak, has been leaked in English interpretation.
El-Rufai was cited as saying that told Tinubu that he is not fit to be president, noting that he no longer has the strength to lead the people, and should leave the stage for stronger people but he refused.
A social commentator, Reno Omokri, posted the video on his twitter page, where he wrote: Reno Omokri @renoomokri “English Version of El-Rufai Video Telling Tinubu He Is Not Fit To Be President!” #TableShaker
Another stakeholder also tweeted same statement of El-Rufai with more details: “Since Asiwaju knows he’s gotten to the age that he no longer has the strength, he should leave it to those with the strength and we’ve been discussing with him. Even two days ago we discussed that and he refused.”
Another stakeholder also cited the governor’s statement thus: “As old as you’re now, you should’ve allowed other people to do it because you’re too weak to rule people but some people and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu refuses to agree. I told him three days ago.
But he never listens. – El-rufai”
