FG promises to complete Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Sept
The Federal Government on Tuesday promised to complete the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in September.
The Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, visiting sites of completed and ongoing Federal Government projects in Lagos State on Tuesday, disclosed that the government has scheduled mid-September 2023 for the completion of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari failed to complete the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway inherited from former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 before departure from office in 2023.
The Works Minister commenced the inspection of federal roads in Lagos on Tuesday from the outer Marina Road, in Victoria Island, to the newly rehabilitated Eko Bridge, to Ijora Olopa, the Lagoon section of Eko Bridge and Apapa.

The minister is expected to inspect the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, the reconstructed Apapa Oshodi expressway, the Deep Sea Ports, and other Federal Government projects on the Lagos and Ogun axis.
