Gov Jibrilla’s trips now paying off – SA Media

THE government of Adamawa state has disclosed that the various trips being undertaken by Governor Muhamadu Umaru Jibrilla have started paying off and the people will soon start feeling the impact.
Making the revelation in Yola, the Special Assistant to governor Jibrilla on Press and Media Affairs, Martins Dikson, noted that as part of governor Jibrilla’s promise to embrace open door policy, he deemed it fit to intimate the citizenry with the successes recorded by his trips.
He noted that the state will soon benefit from a N40 billion CBN Agriculture loan to be disbursed to 14 states in order to boost rice and wheat production.
He noted that as one of the leading rice producers, governor Jibrilla will ensure that the chances of the state in getting the needed agricultural inputs for optimal production, is vigorously pursued.
He noted that apart from the achievements the governor made in the agric sector, he has also participated in a bilateral security summit between Nigeria and Cameroon were important issues aimed at addressing the Boko Haram insurgency were discussed.
Dickson noted that during the meeting, issues bordering on border security and integration were extensively discussed where modalities for information sharing and exchange of culturally ties were agreed at aimed at enhancing border security.
He noted that during the Abuja visit, the governor also paid a courtesy call on the minister of FCT who is a son of the state where a developmental synergy between FCT and the state was established.
While stressing his commitment to save cost in governance, Jibrilla noted that the era of travelling with chartered flight and large entourage was over for all categories of government officials.
