Governor Abiodun visits family of Remo Stars player, Tiamiyu Kazeem
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has paid a condolence visit to the family of Remo Stars player, Tiyamiyu Kazeem, who was killed last Saturday by operatives of SARS in Sagamu, Ogun State. The Governor was on the condolence visit with the Deputy Inspector General of Police.
Relatives of the deceased were said to have protested before the governor and the DIG the unprofessional conducts of some policemen in the area.
Governor Abiodun extending the condolence visit to the Palace of Akarigbo of Remo land, commiserated with the monarch and the entire people of Sagamu, assuring that justice will prevail on the killing.
The governor enjoined the royal father to appeal to residents not to take laws into their hands.

The Deputy Inspector-General of Police, representing the Inspector General of Police on the visit, reiterated that all satellite stations of SARS Zonal offices have been shut down.
Residents of the state were further appealed to not to escalate tensions.
Report indicated that the violent protest which erupted in Sagamu after the incident led to the death of three persons. The violent protest was said to have aggravated, increasing tension in the town. Policemen were alleged to be intimidating and harassing innocent citizens.
