Hope not lost in Lagos, Nigeria, PDP chieftain, Adediran tells Nigerians
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Lagos State governorship candidate in the 2023 election, Dr Abdul-Azeez Adediran, has urged Nigerians to keep hope alive and remain optimistic about the future of the country.
Adediran made the call in Lagos on Wednesday in his speech to mark the Eid el-Fitr.

According to him, hope was not lost in the country and Lagos State in spite of the current socio-economic challenges.
He stated that the self-discipline created by the Ramadan fasting encouraged showing compassion towards fellow human beings who could not feed because of poverty.
“The fasting period makes people appreciate what it means to go without food for the whole day, thereby understanding the impact of hunger on millions of poor people in the state and the country.
“We should not abandon the valuable lessons of the Ramadan fasting; rather we should internalise its lessons as we anticipate a positive change in our experience of governance,” he said.
