On PMB’s politicking:
When herdsmen were killed in Saki, Oyo state, in October 2000, their Grand Patron, President Buhari, went to Gov Lam Adesina demanding “immediate stoppage of the killings, justice & compensation to the Fulanis.” Where is that anger Buhari displayed now that Fulanis are killing Nigerians?
On the call for arrests:
I laugh when Gov Ortom says “I call on the FG to arrest the leadership of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore”. Why is Ortom talking like a child? Can a Mafia godfather arrest a mafioso to please a non mafioso? You are asking the Grand Patron to arrest the people who made him Grand Patron!
Call for Benue’s Gov’t action:
Governor Ortom, instead of weeping, why not call to Fayose to ask him what he did to end herdsmen killings in Ekiti? Crying can’t solve anything. You even called for a 2nd term for Buhari. It didn’t stop his kinsmen from killing your people. Learn how to be a man from Fayose!
Call for Python Dance on Fulani Herdsmen:
How many people were killed in the Southeast before President Buhari ordered Operation Python Dance? Now ask yourself how many thousands have died at the hands of herdsmen in Benue, Kaduna, Plateau, Taraba and Adamawa? The answer proves we are not all equal in Nigeria.
On PMB 2019 ambition:
At a time he should be thinking of appointing a General to head a task force to stop the killings of Nigerians by herdsmen in Benue and other places, President Buhari is more concerned with reappointing Amaechi as Director General of his re-election campaign. Which way Nigeria?
A call to PMB:
President Buhari, remember how Nigerians rose up as one to comfort you when your son, Yusuf, had his accident? Can you now reciprocate the gesture by bringing the herdsmen who killed hundreds of other people’s children in Benue to justice? Doesn’t one good turn deserve another?
On Governor Ortom’s weeping ceremony:
I heard Governor Ortom wept when he saw corpses of his citizens massacred by herdsmen. It might sound harsh, but can Ortom recall that only last month he smiled as he told Nigerians Buhari deserves a 2nd term? If Buhari gets a 2nd term, would there be people left alive in Benue?
On the call to resign:
This call by Amaechi on Wike to resign over killings of 20 people during New Year seems like a plot to instigate a State of Emergency in Rivers so Buhari can have access to Rivers funds for his re-election campaign. Times 100 the people killed in Rivers have been killed in Kaduna.
Still on the call to resign:
Amaechi says Wike must resign because armed men killed 20 people in Rivers. If Amaechi thinks Wike should resign because of killings, what does he think should happen to Buhari since Fulani herdsmen have killed and still kill thousands of Nigerians under the Buhari Presidency?
On PMB’s blame game:
The best response to the names of dead people in the board appointments list should have been accepting responsibility then apology. No need to blame state Governors. How long did it take social media to vet the list and spot the dead? 5 minutes. It was no one’s fault but Buhari’s.
Still on PMB’s blame game:
President Buhari blamed marketers for fuel scarcity though he is the minister for petroleum. Can he still blame them for appointing dead men into government? Perhaps when Buhari has run out of human beings to blame for his incompetence he may start blaming like ‘dog and baboon’.
On PMB’s New Year Speech:
Buhari’s New Year’s Speech should have started with an apology for fuel scarcity not with blaming marketers. Then he should have talked of solutions not of dealing with those he thinks are responsible. Finally, it should have contained what he has done, not what he intends to do.
On PMB’s attempt to arrest critics:
Buhari should stop arresting critics. Critics help the masses channel their anger through their writing. If you arrest them and there is no one left to channel the national angst against the Buhari administration, then people will be forced to channel their anger through violence.
