I want to do more, says MFM FC’s teenage striker Adebayo Waheed

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club teenage sensation, Adebayo Waheed has said he is excited with his first Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) goal and promised to do more for his team .
According to MFM FC defeated Kano Pillars 1-0 in Sunday’s NPFL Matchday 5 clash at the Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium courtesy of a 65th minute brilliant header from the young striker who came in as a substitute for Adegboyega Adekunle in the 60th minute of the entertaining match.
The excited 18-year-old forward who made his first appearance in the Nigerian top flight appreciated God, MFM FC coaching crew led by Fidelis Ilechukwu and his teammates while reacting to questions from National Daily newspaper.
“I want to thank God for giving me this opportunity and secondly I want to thank the coaches and my teammates for giving me the opportunity to be in the team and to play for the team.
“I’m so excited to score the goal, I want to do more and I promise I will do my best for the team and help the team meet its target for the season as I continue to better my football career,” the Ilorin- born player told National Daily.
The Olukoya Boys occupy second spot on the NPFL table with 10 points from five league matches. They will be guests to Sunshine Stars of Akure on Sunday for Matchday 6 clash tagged the ‘Southwest Derby.’
