JAGG eulogize council Chief @44 birthday celebration, calls for more developmental projects
A Lagos based group, Joint Action for Good Governance (JAGG) has tasked the Executive Chairman of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Hon. Dele Oshinowo to urgently address the dearth of potable water and functional drainage, as felicitate with him on his birthday.
The group in a statement jointly signed by JAGG National Vice President Comrade Abdulwaheed Odunuga and Mr. Jide Bakare the Publicity Secretary harped on the fact that the drainage issue need to be fixed on time to stall recurring flood in the area.
“We equally use this occasion of Hon. Dele Oshinowo’s birthday to reiterate the continued need for more developmental projects in the community.
“ This is particularly in the area of building more drainages across flash points in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA that will further reduce incidences of flooding during rainy season.
“ The provision of drinkable water/need to work with the State Water Board to ensure constant flow of pipe borne water is also a priority, as water scarcity is a constant issue in the LCDA.“
The council boss who turned 44 years old on the 19th December, 2021 was described as an epitome of sound and pragmatic leadership with his overall commitment to the socio-economic development of the Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
“He has consistently been identified with projects and programmes that has a direct positive impact on the lives of resident of the Council Area.
“These include the constant road fixing and rehabilitation in the metropolis, provision of basic educational materials and scholarships to indigent students, empowerment initiatives for entrepreneurs and market men/women and so on.
“His constant support for good governance has also not gone unnoticed, as he has on several occasions sacrificed his personal convenience to ensure the good governance dividends get to the reach of nooks and crannies of the common man on the street of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
“Above all, we celebrate this sound mind and vibrant young leader on this great occasion of his birthday. And we also pray for more strength and vision for him to continue to deliver the dividends of good governance to the great people of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.”
