Justice Akanbi dies
Justice Mustapha Akanbi, who was a former president of the Court of Appeal, is dead.
He died Sunday in Ilorin, Kwara, at about 1 am.
His son, Kabir Akanbi, also confirmed the death to The Nation newspaper.
The pioneer chairman of the ICPC will be buried later on Sunday according to Islamic rites.
He was 85.
Mr Akanbi was called to the English Bar in 1963–and to the Nigerian bar in January 1964. He became a Senior State Counsel in 1968 at the justice ministry.
