Keyamo reacts to Peter Obi’s comment on Nigeria inability to qualify for the World Cup (Video)
It was reported that the Labour Party, LP, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, kick-off their nationwide campaign rallies with an Obi-Datti mega rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
While addressing the crowd f supporters, the former governor of Anambra State and Presidential candidate for the Labour Party, LP, Peter Gregory Obi lamented over Nigeria inability to qualify for the World Cup despite our population.
According to the one time governor of Anambra State and flag-bearer of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Gregory Obi, he said that a country of over 200 million people, we could not qualify for the World Cup.
This particular statement made by Peter Obi has attracted a lot of attention as many Nigerians, including the Minister of State Labour, Employment, and Productivity, Festus Egwarewa Keyamo, took to the social media platform to react.
While sharing on his official Twitter page, the spokesperson for the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential campaign council and Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN, Festus Egwarewa Keyamo said, “Really? The population of a country determines its capacity to qualify for the Soccer World Cup? And so China has been qualifying for the World Cup? Chai! I am speechless”.
